Welcome to Raag ! I am Sohil Goorha, the proud owner, and I am joined by my 6-year-old daughter Cira Goorha, the real boss. With my previous stint as an executive, I had the privilege to explore various corners of the world. From Australia to Hong Kong, London to Budapest, New York to Mexico, and even Old Delhi, I immersed myself in gastronomic delights at local hidden gems and internationally acclaimed Michelin star restaurants. These experiences fueled my inspiration to bring a global taste to Minnesota. The restaurant has become popular for its French-inspired dishes, modern Indian cuisine, and unique craft cocktails.

Fine Dining experience

This eclectic experience is reflected in the team, menu and locale. The food menu is designed by a Master Chef from Food Network, our owner graduated from culinary school and has lived globally as a senior corporate executive, and our chef trained with a Michelin restaurant in San Francisco. Award-winning Minnesota-based interior designer Kara Bigos (Kamarron Design) created the interior elements at Raag to be casual and upscale, with subtle accents of Indian culture, highlighted by the “lady on the wall” mural that is your companion while you dine!

We offer diverse options for the whole family, including dairy-free, vegan, nuts-free, and gluten-free choices. Our kitchen is led by Executive Chef Romila, a Mumbai culinary college graduate with global experience and expertise in French cuisine from Michelin chefs. She is also certified in molecular gastronomy, making our Indian food accessible to all.

“This is not the same Raag,” Goorha says. “If you’ve been here before, come back and try it again—you’ll immediately see and feel how different it is”.
