Welcome to my home at Raag! I’m Sohil Goorha, the proud owner, and my seven-year-old daughter Cira Goorha, who is the real boss, is here to greet you as well. With a background in culinary arts and corporate healthcare, I have traveled the world to explore modern Indian cuisine crafted by skilled chefs. Inspired by my award-winning culinary school friends, I decided to bring that same expertise to the twin cities. We have had the pleasure of hosting celebrities and TV chefs, and our menu changes seasonally to showcase the finest ingredients. Our craft cocktails are freshly made, and we offer an extensive selection of wines and spirits.

Fine Dining experience

This eclectic experience is reflected in the team, menu and locale. The food menu is designed by a Master Chef from Food Network, our owner graduated from culinary school and has lived globally as a senior corporate executive, and our chef trained with a Michelin restaurant in San Francisco. Award-winning Minnesota-based interior designer Kara Bigos (Kamarron Design) created the interior elements at Raag to be casual and upscale, with subtle accents of Indian culture, highlighted by the “lady on the wall” mural that is your companion while you dine!

Our menu is tailored to diverse customer preferences.

We are the starter indian restaurant for everyone. The menu is designed with options for the whole family, including dairy-free, vegan, nuts-free, gluten-free choices. Our kitchen is led by Executive Chef Romila, a Mumbai culinary college graduate with expertise in French cuisine from Michelin chefs. She is also certified in molecular gastronomy, making Indian food accessible to all.

“This is not the same Raag,” Goorha says. “If you’ve been here before, come back and try it again—you’ll immediately see and feel how different it is”.
